Field Representative

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Kansas State University in 1974 before working for The Boeing Company and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Baker University in 2000 before taking early retirement from Boeing in 2008, to take a position with World Impact as Director of Deer Creek Christian Camp. Mike and his wife Mary (who is a Registered Nurse) served for 3 years at Deer Creek before moving to Denver to begin TUMI of Denver in which Mike is the site coordinator.

Mike has also taught TUMI in India on numerous trips there and has been instrumental in starting two TUMI sites in India. He has also traveled to South Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to teach TUMI and assist them in establishing TUMI sites there. Mary serves at a mobile medical clinic for the homeless and also ministers at Denver Women’s Correctional Facility where Mike assisted Prison Fellowship in starting a TUMI site. He will also be training future TUMI mentors as additional prisons in Colorado begin TUMI.
